The Tranquility Base
Get Away. Relax. Be Served.
How many times have you wished you could completely unplug?
Whether to a secluded and peaceful location to finish that book or lead your staff through a productive and memorable retreat? Maybe your family just needs to escape for a few days.
Letter from Steve
Our Tranquility Base retreat center is the answer to all those needs.
Located in the secluded and pristine Ozark White River Valley , every aspect of Tranquility Base is designed for creative professionals who need some peace and privacy to get things done.
Our mission is simple: to lavish you with hospitality and grace.
Our mountain lodge retreat center is designed for individuals finishing off big projects, small leadership teams who need an accommodating, but intimate learning environment, and families on holiday who need some time off the grid.
It’s one of the most culturally interesting regions around. Tap your boots to the tune of two annual bluegrass festivals (March & November) and a folk music festival (April). Witness one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the country (always the weekend after Sturgis). Test your skills on the Loco Ropes. Take to the White River for world-class trout fishing, and some of the best deer and turkey hunting in the US.
It’s only thirty minutes to Blanchard Springs Caverns, the only tourist cave owned by the United States Forest Service. Blanchard Springs Caverns is a three-level cave system featuring the popular Dripstone Trail.
Take a short afternoon drive to the small town of Piggott, and visit the home of Ernest Hemingway’s second wife, Pauline Pfeiffer. There, you’ll see the refurbished barn studio where he completed his novel, A Farewell to Arms.
Our retreat center comes with customized packages from facility rental only, to all-inclusive stays.
